Bouchard Aine & Fils Bourgogne Blanc 750ml
(Chardonnay) The regional appellation AOC Bourgogne covers 8,220 acres of Pinot Noir & Chardonnay vineyards, making it one of France?s smallest regional AOCs with one of the
best reputations. The soils here are typically heavy in limestone, marl and clay, although there is quite a bit of soil varation due to the region?s rich geological history. The weather here is continental - very cold winters with frequent periods of frost followed by hot summers. Alcohol levels for Bourgogne Chardonnay must be in between 10.5% and 13.5%, and typically boast a lovely acidity that makes them very food friendly and absolutely delicious!
